Justin Rose In Full Bloom! With A Masterful 65 At Augusta
Augusta National delivered its usual magic on day one of the 2025 Masters, but it was Justin Rose who stole the spotlight. With a vintage 7-under 65, the Englishman carved up the course with precision, claiming the solo lead and tying Jack Nicklaus for most first-round leads in tournament history. Hot on his heels, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Åberg, and Corey Conners sit three strokes back at 68, poised to strike. While swirling winds and scattered spring showers challenged the field, Rose’s calm command stood out. Last week saw the second session of the golf program for the Parakeets at Brent Valley Golf Academy, with professional coach, Giulio Merolla. After the first session of gentle pushing and chipping the children were introduced to their first full swings of a golf club. Kent Under 14’s Boys Squad Receive Their Centenary Kit
Training has been in full swing for our second sponsored juniors team. Kent Under 14 Boys Squad train at Hever Castle Golf Course, their first session included a presentation by the Captain to receive their new smart, centenary kit, sponsored of course by Event Caddie. The boys then enjoyed a talk on golf psychology, a hilarious range session and time on the putting green working on pace control. The next session is at the end of April with the boys looking forward to the first game of the season, which is away at Langdon Hills Golf Club in Essex.
